Accelerated 1-on-1 Learning

Elton uses an accelerated learning model based on 1-on-1 tutoring invented and still used today at Oxford University. Evidence-based educational research demonstrates that learning accelerates when it is personalized to someone's interests and goals, and students can move at their own pace. The Study-Anywhere University

Elton students can live anywhere in the world, but students do not spend 8 hours a day glued to Zoom or YouTube videos—they meet a few times a week with professors, coaches, and other students—otherwise they spend their time studying and building things in the real world.

We use Slack, email, Zoom, Notion, Medium, and more to engage with the Elton community. There are weekly workshops, lectures, and events. Coaches, professors, mentors, and your fellow students are all available via chat, SMS, phone, and Zoom. You can learn anywhere you have access to books or a computer.

Elton College is a global college accredited through the educational organization Woolf. Woolf is a member of the European Agency for Higher Education and Accreditation (EAHEA). Credits and degrees granted at Elton College are recognized globally through the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS)—the same as used by all European universities, such as, Oxford University, the Sorbonne University, etc. Elton College degrees can be used like any other college degree — to apply for a job, transfer to another college or university or attend grad school in the United States or anywhere else in the world.

Elton College currently offers the following degrees.
Master's of Business Administration
MBA
Elton's MBA is based on one key word "real." It asks "What if you didn't wait to begin your aspirations for a career in business? What if you began today?" MBA candidates at Elton do not wait for their degree to end to begin their careers. With the help and coordination of their Elton coach, professors, and mentors, candidates begin immediately to work on projects, case studies, industry collaborations, writing, founding, and creating.

The MBA program is skills-, project-, and industry-based program that is meant for students who want to begin a career in any of the major fields of business: finance, HR, operations, product management, marketing, sales, consulting, and entrepreneurship.
Bachelor of Science & Certificates in
Computer Science
"Software is eating the world” wrote the famous venture capitalist Marc Andreessen. Indeed it is! For this reason, Elton College offers a world-class degree in computer science. This program is focused primarily on front end and back end web development in Python and JavaScript, but students can also explore mobile development, data science, and machine learning.

The BCS program is also interdisciplinary and project-based, but is more focused since it is meant for students who want to begin a career in software engineering.

Students must take over 2/3rds of their credits from completing BCS projects.Students can elect to complete their bachelor's degree (2-4 years) or enroll in a shorter certificate program (12-36 weeks).
Bachelor of Arts in
21st Century Liberal Arts
(Coming Spring of 2024)

Our Bachelor of 21st Century Liberal Arts degree affords its participants the widest possible flexibility to explore their interests, master skills, begin their careers, entertain their curiosities, and achieve their creative and professional goals all while earning or finishing their bachelor's degree.

The BLA program is a blend of interdisciplinary project-, design-, and inquiry-based learning guided by professors and industry experts. Students design and develop their own learning and degree plan. As much as possible, students are urged to build their real life concerns, passions, interests, and experience into their learning — elevating it through professional guidance and serious study.
